“Our everyday life is changing rapidly – the sun is shining, but nothing is normal these days. The pandemic state of emergency in Berlin is a drastic, historical event that we want to capture in words and images, documentary and experimental art. Our collection is growing into a museum!”

In the early days of the Covid pandemic, we created a website under the domain www.quarantaenemuseum.de, which was filled with collected observations and ideas from the lockdown period. Photos, experience logs, sketches, pictures, videos/film sequences, poetry, anti-virus designs, special packaging, self-made protective suits, health tips, do-it-yourself lectures, solidarity banners – we were all alone together. A lively exchange in a telegram group set up to collect the material was a pleasant reminder of this.
