At Falscher Fisch, our art+design workshops at Ziegrastraße 1 in Neukölln, young people from around the world meet for workshops and building activities, and invite you to experience surprising spatial figures and events. As part of the BERLIN DESIGN WEEK, the group opens the performative “Rastplatz EINHUNDERT”, with delicacies à la Autogrill. The scrap heap of the nearby A100 construction site and neighbouring car workshops provide amazing materials that intertwine recycling and waste theory with questions of social transformation. Together with young people from our “Bildungsmanufaktur”, from “GLASHAUS Prenzlau” and guests, the artist Matze Görig will build a skyscraper, the artist Federica Teti and the young carpet artists of the group LUZI will surprise us with textile advertising signs, Dr. Michael Fehr, editor of a publication by Michael Thompson on “Mülltheorie” [Rubbish Theory], will honour us with a lecture of the same name. We are looking forward to a colourful day at our recycling construction site! Everyone is very welcome to join us.
