As part of the exhibition project The Great Repair by the Akademie der Künste and ARCH+, we are reopening our wonderful miniature world LES MICROBES.

5 January | 3 – 9 pm | Falscher Fisch, Ziegrastr. 1, Neukölln

Admission is free and everyone is invited.

Under the direction of Matze Görig, artists and designers have spent several months working with young refugees to develop a miniature film set made from bulky rubbish, waste products and found objects. The unrestrained view connects different worlds that meet on “floes” suspended in the space: remembered architecture, neighbourhoods, fantastic factories and ruins. The spatial experiment combines the stories of the young makers, models and AI-generated images to create fragile visions that will be shown on cinema screens in a further step.

Concept & Artistic Director: Matze Görig
Production team: Théophane Carrot, William Fikilianz, Cyrill Lachauer
Modellers & storytellers: Ali, Aminou, Baki, Gautier, Lamin, Stephan, Younussa
