The new artistic intervention by our STUDIO ƘARFI! We are copying a shop. The antique shop Aatik is located in the direct neighbourhood of our shop at Schlesische Str. 10/11. As part of our exploration, we produce 1:1 models of the goods on sale there.

Fri., 15 Sept. // 16 – 22 // Falscher Fisch, Ziegrastr. 1

2 / OPENING: LES MICROBES
4 – 10 pm (and by appointment)

Fantastic factories, remembered ruins: fragile visions as a condensate of moving memories and the vivid imagination of young designers who have fled. Matze Görig and a team of young men from our Bildungsmanufaktur have built an astonishing miniature film set from remnants of our city. There is no better place for this than the workshop of Falscher Fisch!

3 / SCHATTENZENSUS
On the block at Straße der Pariser Kommune 20
PRESENTATION: 5pm – 9pm

Young people who were displaced from a block of flats in Friedrichshain developed various approaches to remembering and describing with the design collective criticalform. Conversations, collages, mappings, models, animations – the presentation will showcase the impressive project results.

4 / RELEASE: SCHATTENZENSUS peer-to-peer study
How Syrian women experience and organise their entry into the world of work in Berlin
RELEASE: 17:30
Wie syrische Frauen ihren Einstieg in die Berliner Arbeitswelt erleben und gestalten
RELEASE: 17:30 Uhr

GENA is a self-organised initiative of Syrian women who have been meeting here since 2021, making common cause and supporting others.
In view of the limited scope of the official census survey, GENA has dared the experiment of asking the questions themselves and conducting research in their own environment.
“We are 50, 60 years old – we are young! We’ll stay here until we’re 80 or 90 years old. What should we do for that long? Stay at home? That’s not good!”
